What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you run a brief we store the brief record you create: the question you asked, the depth and any recency or domain filters, the credit reservation and settlement, and the finished brief with its sources and quotes.

What we don't

We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell, share or resell your questions or your briefs, and neither is used to train any model.

Your questions and briefs

Questions and briefs are stored privately against your account and are never shown to another account. Reading, exporting and polling a brief you already paid for are free forever. Deleting a brief removes its record, its text and its stored sources.

Briefs paid for over the keyless x402 rail belong to no account. They carry no identity of any kind — only the question, the result and the on-chain transaction hash — and are reachable solely by the identifier returned at purchase.

Sub-processors

To produce a brief, your question is sent to a web-search provider, and the question plus the text of the pages that were fetched is sent to a language-model provider. They receive the question and page content only — never your name, email or Ounie identity. Pages are fetched from their publishers over the public web; we do not send anything about you to those publishers beyond an ordinary request.

Payments and credits are handled by ounie.com. Keyless payments settle on the Base network through a payment facilitator; a blockchain transaction is public and permanent by design.

Where data lives

Application data (brief records, credit ledger entries) is stored in a Neon Postgres database hosted in the US.

Accuracy

A brief reports what its sources say, with a reference to each one. It is not a warranty that those sources are correct. Claims that could not be traced to a page we fetched are removed before delivery, and the count of what was removed ships with the brief — but the judgement about whether a source is trustworthy remains yours.

Deletion

Deleting a brief removes its record and its stored text. To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
